On 17th of November me and my Kapa haka Roopu performed in Kenzington Stadium it was fun we performed Waiata tira, Karanga, Whakaeke, Whaikorero, Moteatea, Waiata aringa, Poi, Haka, Whakawatea. When we finished the performence couple people we crying in tears because they were so proud and happy. We stayed there till 6:30pm for the prize giving Leilani our Kaea came first equal times 4 thats amazing. Over all we came 3rd . We all traveled home on a big bus but first we went to town basin to wait for our pizza's. There was stackes of pizzas like 36 of them there was 10 fizzies and very fill stomachs. We came back to school and then had a very fun night when we woke up we all cleaned up got changed and had breakfast. All our whanaus came with a fill plate of kai and we had a big shared lunch and then went home for a nice sleep.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Taylor I am Jorjah I am a year 6 from Paihia school ,I love how you added what you did at KapaHaka regionals and the photos that you added look pretty. I love that you are sharing our culture online and how you wrote about it was amazing.I can relate to the feeling of being proud and happy about the performance that you had just done. I think that what you can try do better next time is add what you had done overnight and what you ate for breakfast and just add that little bit more of information.
