I chose this topic because it looked like I would be able to get a lot of information out of it. This topic was challenging for me because I'm not a very big fan of sprinters and runners. How to make a HANGI

Holiday in Pukenui and Ruawai.

Today we had to write about the holidays and I chose this because this is my favorite part and I really want to share it with yous.

On the first week of the holidays I went to my Nan's house for 6 days. On the first day me and my siblings unpacked our bags and made our beds and went to sleep we got there around 10:00pm. When we woke up we had some breakfast and then went to go fishing I caught 2 snapper. On the rest of the days we went to Ninety mile beach to go and get some Toheroa. On the last day my parents came up to pick us up and then we went straight to my sisters house in Ruawai. In Ruawai we went horse riding, Easter egg hunting and Baby shopping. On the second week I went to my other Nan's house she lives on a farm with heaps of animals I didn't really do much up there just going with my papa to the hospital every second day for his dialysis and adventuring around in the bushes with my cousin Mereana. For the rest of the holidays I went back home and went to go spend some time at my friends house.

I have chosen this picture on pobble 365 because it really does catch my eye and it looks very interesting to write about. It was hard because I don't really get what the picture is. I hope you enjoy my piece of writing

It was the moment they had been dreading. Asleep all night long on a big rock can't go outside to even see where you are. Chains had been locked onto a big rock with a little house on it. At the end of the chains are para-shoots lifting the big rock as they get higher and higher. So scared and terrified not knowing where you are how did you get so high up in the sky. 

As they poked their heads out of their windows,
 they  are hundreds of meters above the whole
world.They had been banished. It was time to
find a new home.

The African elephant is the king among the giants on land. The largest African elephant weighed 13.5 tons (27,000 pounds). (The largest registered Indian and Asian elephants were both 11.3 ft (3.43 meters) tall). The world record holder weighed this much and stood 13ft / 4m tall at the shoulder.

Making Ice-cream

On Tuesday this week our classes room 5 and 6 made Ice-cream. The ingredients that we used were Strawberry powder, oats, honey, Mar-mite, Bananas, Ice, Milk, and salt. We had to use our own plate and our own Popsicle stick because there is Meningitis going around. We all got put into groups and we had to make our own in that group. We had to combined 2 other groups into 1 group and share it all around I liked our Ice cream the most. We all had so much fun and all the ice creams were very yummy.

Te rau pou Manawa O Kawakawa Regionals

On 17th of November me and my Kapa haka Roopu performed in Kenzington Stadium it was fun we performed Waiata tira, Karanga, Whakaeke, Whaikorero, Moteatea, Waiata aringa, Poi, Haka, Whakawatea. When we finished the performence couple people we crying in tears because they were so proud and happy. We stayed there till 6:30pm for the prize giving Leilani our Kaea came first equal times 4 thats amazing. Over all we came 3rd . We  all traveled home on a big bus but first we went to town basin to wait for our pizza's. There was stackes of pizzas like 36 of them there was 10 fizzies and very fill stomachs. We came back to school and then had a very fun night when we woke up we all cleaned up got changed and had breakfast. All our whanaus came with a fill plate of kai and we had a big shared lunch and then went home for a nice sleep.

Week 5 blog writing

Today is my sisters Birthday she is turning 8 years old. She stayed home today to go out with my mum and dad then after school we are all going to flip out or all in Ry-them. She got L.O.L SURPRISES over $100 she got heaps of squishes 2 pears of shoes and lots of money. We had a cool and girly cake after dinner. When we opened everything there was heaps of rubbish everybody went to bed except me I stayed up to clean everything.

Room 5 and 6's Assembly

Today Room 5 and 6 had our assembly it was fun and pretty funny 😂😂

we all dressed up and made some masks 👿 there was heaps of fake spider webs everywhere.

We all had so much fun. We are gonna leave the spider webs there for tonight

 for the Halloween disco. We did a Rave in the grave dance. The music was pretty creepy though

we all sang a song called I am a lion. We also done another dance called UN POCO LOCO

off the movie coco 👹

Maori maze

We were learning to give simple instructions in Maori the directions we learnt were Haere totika witch is go straight , Ka tu witch is stop, piki ake witch is go up, heke iho witch is go down our task was to know the correct Maori words and no to open my eyes I found this task hard because my partner couldn't pronounce the words properly my next step is to learn more Maori words

Last term on the last day of school we had a sports day there we lots and fun sports like soccer netball and Rugby we all had heaps of fun and it was interesting to see all the photos the teachers took some of us kids also helped with the little kids. We put the soccer down on the junior field and the netball on the netball court and the rugby across the road on the big field. At lunch time we all had some sausage sizzles and some ice-blocks the sport that i chose was netball but I had no shoes we just playing for fun and we didn't verse anyone. At the end of the day we all had heaps of fun and we were all so tired and we all needed a sleep so then the day finished

Rm 5 + 6 carpool karaoke 2018

 Last week room 5 & 6 put together a carpool Karaoke it was fun and funny my group choose the song Wairoa it was interesting and weird because I was the only one moving. We all had heaps of fun and it was cool to watch for our assembly. Subscribe on Youtube

This week we have been practicing on putting the leader of Ngatokimatawhaorua Nukutawhiti so we had to do our Pepeha on a doc and add them into it enjoy : )

Last week my class room 5 and 6 made
mozzarella cheese and pizza
everybody's pizza dough came
out really good my one
exploded : ) it tasted like re wanna
bread the teachers said that i have the
needing hand's. My other team
mates in my group made pizza but
one of them made the mozzarella cheese.
When we bit the pizza it was looking
good and stretchy cheese YUM!
The ingredients that we put on the pizza
was Spaghetti, mozzarella cheese, normal cheese,
and ham we enjoyed it at the end and it
was delicious .
